Dear Delavan Alum:
The 2017 Alumni Banquet will be held in the Jake Poppenga Gymnasium, Saturday, June 10, 2017. Events
begin at 5:00 pm. Reservations are due by June 6, 2017. Come early to meet your fellow classmates.
Honored classes this year are: 1957, 1967, 1977, 1992, and 2017. Each honored class should select a
spokesperson to give a short introduction. Special recognition will also be given to those attending from pre-
1957 classes. Other classes planning on a large attendance should let us know well in advance in order to
arrange for special seating and recognition. Pictures will be taken of the honor classes after the banquet.
The tentative schedule is as follows:
5:00 pm. ......................................... Registration and distribution of name tags in main foyer.
The Hospitality Room will be open in the library.
6:00 pm. ......................................... Banquet served by Darlene& Company Atlanta, Illinois.
The "Alumni Umbrella" will be passed and contributions accepted. Past year donations were given to the
school towards various school projects. The Alumni Committee has allocated funds for the 11th annual
Delavan Alumni Scholarship to be given to a 2017 graduating senior. Delavan Education Foundation will
provide matching funds.
Please keep our directory current. If you are aware of an address change for yourself or other alumni, send it

www.delavanschools.com which has a link to an Alumni Page where you can submit an address change.
