DELAVAN ELEMENTARY STUDENTS NEED OUR HELP! The Delavan elementary students are in desperate need of new playground equipment. The school was recently forced to remove one of the main, larger pieces of equipment (as shown in the photograph) that was built in 1992 for various insurance and safety reasons. As a result, the same number of kids are now playing on a playground with far less equipment. TAZWOOD COMMUNITY SERVICES HAS RECEIVED A GRANT TO PURCHASE SCHOOL SHOES AND BOOK BAGS WITH BASIC SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR STUDENTS GRADES K –12 WHO LIVE IN TAZEWELL OR WOODFORD COUNTIES. Call in day for this program will be on Monday, June 17, 2013, starting at 8:00 and ending when the first 375 eligible students are taken. Student Medications - Attention Parents

Attention parents and guardians! If your student has any medications at school please have them pick it up in the junior/senior high school office. It will be held for up to two weeks after school is out and then disposed of in a proper fashion. We will not keep any medicine over the summer. At the beginning of next school year you can send in new medication for your student. Please remember that we only will give out medicine one time without the proper paperwork.
