Mrs. Wonders Announces State Science Fair Results!
Nine students’ Science Fair projects from Delavan Schools were selected to represent the Illinois Junior Academy of Science Region One at the State Science Fair held Saturday, May 4th at the University of Illinois Assembly Hall in Champaign-Urbana. Seventh Graders Alyssa Turner and Abby Garret ; eighth graders Abigail Rademaker, Geoffrey Diver and Logan Darling; and twelfth graders Daniel Long , Marissa Rademaker, Madalynn Carr, and Hope Kensinger displayed their projects at the State Fair, along with 1020 additional projects from around the state. For a new teacher article assignment at Delavan Schools I picked to review Mr. Stewart, a 6 th grade teacher here at Delavan. He teaches 6 th grade math, science and language arts. Delavan Elementary Students Need Our Help!
DELAVAN ELEMENTARY STUDENTS NEED OUR HELP! The Delavan elementary students are in desperate need of new playground equipment. The school was recently forced to remove one of the main, larger pieces of equipment (as shown in the photograph) that was built in 1992 for various insurance and safety reasons. As a result, the same number of kids are now playing on a playground with far less equipment.
